Compliance News Return to main news New Limit for FOSPosted by H3 on 2011-05-27 15:10:29 BSTNew complaints handling rules have been confirmed by the FSA and an increase in the FOS award limit from £100,000 to £150,000. In order for firms to handle complaints fairly the regulator has abolished two stage complaint handling and firms will have to nominate a senior individual responsible for complaints handling. Firms will need to take account of ombudsmans decisions and previous customer complaints.
